Precautions and Maintenance Methods for Air-Cooled Screw Chillers

1. In order not to affect the cooling effect of the air-cooled screw chiller, to ensure the normal and continuous operation of the plastic equipment. Please place the chiller in a clean, well-ventilated place with good heat dissipation (it is recommended to place it outdoors with a sunshade, and there is no large heat source in the space within 2M of the equipment).

2. Please clean the condenser regularly. It is best to use gas of no less than 0.8Mpa (usual nitrogen) or a soft brush to clean the dust on the condenser fins (blow perpendicular to the fins to prevent the fins from blowing Inverted), in order to avoid the poor heat dissipation of the condenser during long-term operation of the equipment, resulting in high-pressure protection of the chiller, and the compressor does not start, which may affect customer use.

3. Please remind customers to clean the water tank regularly and change the water frequently. Generally, the pure water is replaced once a month, and the water tank is cleaned at the same time (washed with detergent and rinsed) to ensure the water quality of the chiller is clean.

4. In order to avoid the abnormal flow of the chiller, please remind customers to change the water filter element frequently. When the white filter element is observed to be pig liver color, it should be replaced immediately, otherwise, it will easily cause the chiller to cut off, underflow, and flow alarm. It even caused the filter cup to burst. (Note: The filter device of our company's equipment above 3HP is built-in, and the left door of the equipment needs to be opened when replacing the filter element)

5. Pay attention to the monthly maintenance of the chiller, thoroughly clean the internal pipeline of the equipment once a month, and carefully check whether there are oil stains in the refrigeration pipeline. If there are oil stains and the cooling effect of the equipment is not good, please check by professionals' maintain.
