How Does the Chiller Work?

Chillers, in the industry is divided into two types of air-cooled chillers and water chillers, chillers in the temperature control is divided into low-temperature chillers and room temperature chillers, room temperature temperature is generally controlled in the range of 0 degrees -35 degrees. Low temperature machine temperature control is generally in the range of 0 degrees - minus 100 degrees or so.

Is first injected into the machine tank a certain amount of water, through the chiller refrigeration system to cool the water, and then the pump will be low-temperature cooling water into the equipment to be cooled, chiller chilled water will heat away after the temperature rises and then back to the tank, to achieve the role of cooling.

In air conditioning systems, chilled water is usually distributed to heat exchangers, or coils in air handling units, or other types of terminal equipment for cooling in their respective space(s of air), and then the chilled water is redistributed back to the cooling being cooled off. These cooling coils transfer sensible and latent heat from the air to the chilled water, and therefore, typically dehumidify the cooling air stream. A typical air conditioning unit application is rated for 15 to 1,500 tons (180,000 18,000,000 BTU/h or 53 to 5,300 kW) of cooling capacity. Chilled water temperatures range from 35 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit or 1.5 to 7 degrees Celsius, depending on application requirements.

Refrigeration Systems

The liquid refrigerant in the evaporator absorbs the heat from the water and starts to evaporate, and the temperature difference between the refrigerant and the water is formed.

When the chiller is molding products, the clamping force needed is different due to the variety of raw materials, the size and shape of the molding products, so please adjust the mold according to the actual minimum clamping force needed. This will save power consumption and will significantly extend the service life of the machine.

Advantages of chillers

Please check the reliability of the safety device, safety lever and safety door at the beginning of each operation. Remember not to put your hand into the clamping mechanism during the operation of the machine. When picking up products, always open the safety door and close it only after confirming the safety of personnel and the absence of foreign objects in the mold. Also, do not put your hand between the nozzle and the mold gate during operation. When repairing the mold, please turn off the oil pump motor.

The screw chiller has the advantages of high efficiency, good performance, low noise, low vibration, energy saving, high reliability and long life. According to the customer's needs and the size of cold tonnage, single machine or multiple machine combination is used. The compressor can automatically move alternately according to the load change, balancing the running hours of each compressor, greatly extending the service life of the chiller.
